Our Mission	The Idaho Foster & Adoptive Parents Association (IDFAPA) is a non profit volunteer organization working to advance the professional role of foster parents, and speaking out in order to protect the children we serve. By advocating for improvement in the child welfare system, IDFAPA helps to ensure that foster homes remain the best possible alternative for children needing foster care placement. IDFAPA also works to make legislative changes, to represent the foster parents of Idaho in the National Foster Parent Association (NFPA), and to represent our interests to the Dept. of Health and Welfare
